Bye Bye Chenai

Chenai hit the dust this week. No more Chenai. How will great British life go on?? I know I was inconsolable for nearly three seconds before flicking over to the Xtra factor to see them all squirm.

Am I the only person who loves the first 5 minutes of Xtra Factor to see them all on stage fumbling around and pretending to feel sad about not being the one kicked off this week? Whilst the "victim" stands there blubbing in shock looking from auto-cue to auto-cue searching for some inspiration. Chenai announced this week on hearing of her sad demise that it meant that at last she was "going home!!!" What to that crack den ghetto hole you've been going about wanting to get out of for the last 5 weeks??!!!

And Brenda - Holy God what diet is this woman on?? We're told she has lost one and a half stones - did she have it gouged out - how could you lose that in a few weeks? Incidentally she reminds me of Rusty Lee when she laughs - anyone remember her? I loved her and I love Brenda.

As for Sharon - I think that next week FredandFred should play a "Favourite Expert" drinking game in which we have a shot every time she mentions her award. Except next week instead of Sharon on that seat we will have her award and she won't even bother showing at all!!

Our other game next Saturday night will be "X Factor Cliche Bingo". Cliche's we shall particularly be looking out for to complete a line in our score card will be as follows

"1000 percent" (Simon is particularly fond of this one)

"I think he/she could have a hit with this record" (Louis the Leprachaun's stock glibber)

"I think he/she deserves to be in this competition" (Simon - "Competition" is said in 4 equally slow syllables in a seriously OTT tone which suggest that it's a Nobel Peace prize at stake and not an ill fated recording contract that will lead to.... well... other reality shows.)

"I'll/We'll take the judges advice/comments ON BOARD" (usually said by a contestant who clearly thinks they know better than the judges - and to be fair they probably do)

"We can see how much he/she WANT'S IT" (Another Louis stock stuck-for-words response)

"He/She really made this song HIS/HER OWN" (Means absolutely nothing)

"I think THE PUBLIC really like HIM / HER / THEM" (said by a judge describing their own act who has shocking voice, flat/sharp consistantly)

and last but not least,

"It's Chico Time" The only cliche on X Factor with any real meaning.....

Game cards will be given out next week, in the meantime please note that the poll has been reset and from now on one vote only - TO ELIMINATE the act you want to go this week. Get voting.
